The Journey

The Clipper 11-12 Round the World Yacht Race features 15 individual races competed over 8 separate legs. The full circumnavigation is completed in 11 months, which totals 40,000 racing miles around the globe.

Anyone finishing the full circumnavigation will return home as an experienced sailor. The route takes us through dead calm seas, extreme gales, snow flurries, sleet and fog, swells and storms. Sightings of sea monsters, dragons or ghost ships is not guaranteed though.
